STRONGER TOGETHER.  More than ever, our community relies on the Y as a trusted source of support. A leading human services provider, we stand ready to comfort and serve our most vulnerable individuals, children and families. We are grateful for your support that enables the Y to be here for all and here for good.

The Y is a leading non profit organization that offers programs, services and initiatives focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, according to the unique needs of the communities it engages.

We’re guided by 5 core values: Caring | Honesty | Respect | Responsibility | Inclusion

At every age and activity level, you’ll find people just like you looking to live healthier. From low-impact exercise, chair yoga and aqua fitness, to strength training, cycling and group fitness, at the Y you’ll find fun, support and connection.

Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. The Y offers swim lessons for all ages, family swim, competitive swim and adaptive programs, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.

Values and skills learned early are vital building blocks for future success. The Y’s affordable, child care for infants through preschoolers offers piece of mind that children are in safe, enriching place where they will learn, grow and thrive.

With a focus on safety, health, social and emotional growth, and academic support, Y school-age programs serve kindergartners through middle schoolers with activities to develop their confidence and be their best selves.

At the Y, we believe sports and fun go hand in hand. Along with improving health, whenever teamwork is involved, there’s the added benefit of being connected to others. That’s why we offer so many sports and activities for all ages.

Y summer camp builds skills, develops character and strong social connection. Kids become a community as they learn how to be independent and contribute to a group while engaging in physical, social and educational activities.

We’re More Than A Gym. We’re A Cause.

The Y is a supportive community of men, women and children of all ages and from all walks of life joined together by a shared mission: to strengthen the foundations of community. For 150 years, YMCA of Greater Monmouth County has the long standing relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver lasting personal and social change.

In the last five years, $5M in financial assistance and program subsidies was provided
to those who need it most.

Collectively, more than 36,000 of our greater Monmouth County neighbors became healthier in spirit, mind and body through Y memberships.

650+ volunteers donated their time to help us deliver on our commitment to strengthen the foundations of community.

3,400+ children nurtured daily during age-appropriate activities in our Ys preschool, school-age, before and after school care programs

Over 1,500+ children participated Y summer camp and outdoor experiences, developed friendships, discovered new skills, and enhanced their confidence.

6,100+ children learned to swim towards reducing the risk of childhood drowning, instilling a lifelong love of swimming and educating children on safety around different water environments.
