Matawan, NJ (March 31, 2015) – The Community YMCA welcomes parents of preschool children to enroll their children in the Y’s nurturing preschool programs. Registration is available for children ages 2 ½ -5  for the rest of the school year and for September 2015.

An Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Y Children’s Achievement Center, 201 Broad Street, Matawan, NJ 07747.

“We invite parents and guardians to tour our preschool and to meet the Y’s caring staff of professionals, who are dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child,” said Rosemary Mintz, Vice President of Child Achievement and recipient of the National Outstanding Child Care Director Award.

Mintz said the Y’s academic preschool provides time-tested, challenging and nurturing preschool programs in a safe and caring environment. Preschool programs are open year-round with extended care hours available for parents and guardians.
