Safety Around Water is a week-long water safety program for our friends and neighbors in the community, running June 18-22, 2018. This program is offered annually to first time participants of all ages who have little or no swimming ability.
The course introduces the aquatic environment to beginners and teaches basic learn-to-swim skills and increases water safety awareness for families. Our goal is to make everyone feel safe and comfortable in and around the water.
Registration must be done in person at one of our YMCA aquatic locations:

Community Program Fee: $15
Space is limited and all registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Y members who have not participated in a YMCA swim program/or who have had a child(ren) in our swim program will be placed on a waiting list—and will be registered only if classes don’t fill to maximum student/instructor ratios.
