Dive in for an afternoon of fun at The Community YMCA’s Aquatics Open House on Sat., Feb. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Family Health & Wellness Center located at 166 Maple Ave. in Red Bank.

“The Y has long been America’s favorite swimming instructor with aquatics programs that focus on safety, skill, confidence and developing a love of water activities that last a lifetime,” said Stacey Lastella, who oversees the Red Bank Y and Human Resources for The Community YMCA.

“The Y is pleased to introduce a new swim curriculum that helps children of all ages master their skills with personalized attention, letting them set their own pace for learning,” Lastella said.

Lastella also noted that the Red Bank Y’s swim lesson program was named Hulafrog’s “2017 Most Loved” by local parents.

Families are invited to take a dip in the Y’s warm water pool at the Open House, get a free evaluation of their children’s swim skills, learn about the Y’s commitment to water safety, view youth sports activities and enjoy prizes and refreshments.

Parents may also check out the Y’s group fitness classes and tour the fitness areas. Families who join the Y at the Open House on Feb. 10 will save $130 on the family membership joiner fee. Free babysitting will be available during the Open House.
